Le Peep Cafe in San Antonio

Delicious and great service!

Maybe a little above average.My husband thought everything was wonderful, but he was coming off a post-colonoscopy fast. The bacon was great. The blueberry compote that came with the blueberry pancakes was a nice addition. I appreciated the fact that they brought us an extra plate to split the Homestead and pancakes and that they cooked the two eggs differently for us. The biscuits (which didn't taste freshly made) needed more gravy. I wasn't that wasn't that impressed with the coffee, which could also have been warmer. The pancakes tasted like the baking powder/soda/whatever wasn't mixed in well. Interesting, the military discount (10%) was only applied to one meal, not the whole ticket.

First of all you have to wait about 30-40 min to get seated, once you do you have to wait another 20 min at least to get a server. You ask if anyone can go assit you and the hostes will give you bad looks worse service ever!

Scrumptious variety of goodies! I was a first timer and wow! I was really hungry and this place hit the spot. Good size portions filled up the tummy for sure. I upgraded my pancakes to bacon cakes. I had the lumberjack breakfast

Pretty good service unless your tucked away in corners sometimes they forget to check on you. The food is also good.

A bit busy when we arrived but the service was still quick. The food was good too. Enjoyed the atmosphere as well. Worth a visit if passing through or nearby.

Awesome cozy cafe, in a very rural type area. If your looking for a great casual cafe to try, le Peep is the place with a wide variety of specialty breakfast food from all American to Hispanic delicacies. And very friendly staff and service 5 stars well earned.

I thought I would try this out yesterday and was very pleased with the food the atmosphere and mostly the service. The only reason I am taking one star off is because my table was never pre bussed even with a bus boy walking around with an empty tub and the waitress never checked back after I received my food.I will be stopping back again for breakfast.

I had the custom omelette: bacon, tomato, bell pepper, avocado, and cheddar; with potatoes on the side. It came with salsa and I enjoyed every bite! I liked how the servers leave the refill pitcher for water/tea/coffee on the table for you to self serve. 👍🏻

Amazing. Staff helped me pick as I am an out of towner visiting. The breakfast burrito was amazing. Lots of flavor, well balanced and huge. It was priced well for the portion. I would 100% recomend and come back. Every party member was happy with their meal.

First time here and we were not disappointed. Friendly service and food was very good. Hot and fresh tasting!! We need one close to our house.

Food was great. Gave our server a $10 tip. Then gave her the money to pay our bill. She said she would be right back with our change. We waited 10 minutes and just walked out.As we were walking out our server Amanda says I'm sorry about that guys and let's us walk out without our change so she ended up with a $15 tip.

If you like slightly elevated cafeteria food, then this is the place for you! I have no idea why there was a wait when the food and service were doing the bare minimum

The food here was very good! Portions are just right for brunch. The dining area can get a bit loud when it's busy, but for a quiet lunch its wonderful to have so close in the neighborhood.

My favorite restaurant, hands down! Always delicious. Staff always friendly. Food always comes out very quickly and flavor is consistent. Only downside is their espresso machine breaks down quite often. Mind you, it's one negative per 100 positives. Just go! Treat yourself to their crab cakes Benedict (slap your mama good!)

First time experience from out of town, only thing is that the servers need to be more attentive especially to those who got sat first and were already waiting a good bit of time. Our server did apologize for the long wait but to see other people get served first, drinks and food before even taking our drink order soured the initial experience being a bit odd and rude. I wanted to support the local small business and I understand that it can get busy, but please communicate with other servers in order to get the best overall experience for all customers. I gave it a 3 stars since the 2 stars is for the food which was pretty decent, the mocha latte was more watery than latte.

A great place for breakfast for everyone in the family. Whether you have a straight forward “not fancy” eater or someone who likes to kick their fare up a notch with inventive recipes - Le Peep is your place. Good food, great ambiance, wonderful staff. It’s a favorite of mine if I’m in the mood for a staple I like on their menu or in the mood to try something different, I haven’t been disappointed yet. I don’t usually eat there at high peak times so I’m not sure about wait times for seating or food but they’ve always been super prompt when I have gone in for a late breakfast/early lunch.

Le Peep is Le Git! First time trying this joint out after one unforgettable night of debauchery. Le Peep brought me and friends back to life in the most delicious way. Our server and service was on point as well. I had the Wanderer skillet which blew my mind with the hidden cheese blanket under the eggs/over those peasent taters! Looking forward to another brunch there next time!

Every week I visit Le Peep and they have never failed me. Service is amazing and the food is good. Can’t ask for more

It's been a while since we've had breakfast at Le Peep. My neighbor was the one who recommended this place a while back.The wait was pretty short today. I noticed their menu was different from when we last visited.I did stick with the Hen Pen, which includes 2 eggs, bacon, english muffin and I swapped the potatoes for fresh fruit. It was pretty good and filling. My husband tried the chicken fried chicken, which came with 2 eggs and he also swapped the potatoes for fresh fruit.It's part of the Spot reward system so we try to remember to check in.

Every single item, from the coffee to the grilled cheese, was amazing. Great casual atmosphere with just the right touch of fanciness to stand out from traditional breakfast/lunch places. The service was perfect and it was decently priced for the quality of the food and the atmosphere. If you're looking for somewhere new to try out, Le Peep is a great choice and has a variety to please everyone.

Had the country Benedict and it was good, the potatoes on the side were cooked well but just needed some seasoning, my friend had the blueberry pancakes and loved them. Had a sweet hostess and waitress. Cute little brunch spot with good prices!

Food was good. They serve sandwiches and breakfast items. The service was great. The food did seam higher quality than most breakfast places. The restaurant was very clean. It looked like a placer the locals hang out. I had chicken and waffles.

Great place and atmosphere. The stuffed french toast was too sweet. However the service was great!

Stopped at Le Peep for breakfast. Very tasty breakfast hard to choose since everything looked good. I will definitely return, maybe for lunch next time. Plus you could sit outside and eat if you wanted.

Great service and yummy breakfast. Got the farmers Benedict with potatoes. The server brought me a fresh hot cup of coffee closer to the end of my meal and also offered coffee to go.

Staff are very friendly, place is clean. Food was delicious at a great price. Would definitely go again
